How it works
From input to output,
in a few clicks.
Compose a precise color transition for buttons, hero sections, cards or decorative backgrounds. Control each stop independently and switch gradient geometry without losing your palette.
- Select the gradient typeChoose linear for a directional blend, radial for a center-out transition, or conic for colors swept around a point.
- Tune geometry and colorsSet the angle or center, edit each hex color, and move stop positions from 0 to 100 percent. Add stops or remove extras at any time.
- Preview and copyCheck the live result, then copy the background-image declaration directly into your CSS.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the three gradient types?
Linear gradients transition along a straight line, radial gradients spread away from a center, and conic gradients rotate around a center like a color wheel.
What do color stop percentages control?
A stop position places its color along the gradient line or around the gradient circle. Moving stops closer creates a faster transition; matching positions create a hard color edge.
Can I make a two-color gradient?
Yes. The editor starts with three stops but allows you to remove stops until only two remain. You can also build more complex multi-color transitions by adding stops.
Does the generator upload my colors or settings?
No. Gradient calculations, preview updates and CSS output are handled entirely by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to SVGMod.
