How it works
From input to output,
in a few clicks.
Reorient vector artwork without manually editing every path. The converter wraps the original elements in one transform group, calculates the center from the viewBox or numeric dimensions, and always rebuilds from your source to prevent cumulative transforms.
- Load the original SVGPaste markup or choose an SVG file. Keep this source unchanged while you experiment with different orientations.
- Choose a transformationEnter any finite rotation angle, use a 90-degree shortcut, and enable horizontal or vertical flipping as needed.
- Generate the group transformReview the center-based result and preview, then copy or download the new SVG with its transformed group.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the rotation center?
The transform center is the midpoint of a valid viewBox. If no viewBox exists, the tool can infer it from positive unitless or pixel width and height values; otherwise it asks you to add reliable canvas information.
Will repeated rotations keep adding transforms?
No. Every result is generated afresh from the source editor, never from the previous output. Changing from 90 to 180 degrees therefore produces one predictable group transform rather than nested accumulated rotations.
How are horizontal and vertical flips represented?
The group uses negative x or y scale values between centering translations. Rotation and both flips are combined into one transform attribute while the original shape and path coordinates remain intact.
