How do I use an SVG sprite in HTML?
Include the sprite in the document, then use <svg><use href="sprite.svg#icon-name" /></svg> for an external sprite or href="#icon-name" when the symbols are inline.
Why preserve each icon viewBox?
The viewBox defines the symbol coordinate system. Preserving it ensures every icon scales correctly regardless of its original dimensions.
Are scripts removed from source icons?
Script and foreignObject elements plus inline event handlers are removed. You should still inspect third-party SVG files before using them in production.
